Pixel 11 Pro Fold Leaks in ‘Pine’ Green, and Its Oversized Flash Has Fans Guessing About Pixel Glow
Google’s Pixel 11 Pro Fold has surfaced in its clearest leak yet, showing off a muted green “Pine” colorway paired with a light gold frame.
The render, shared by Mystic Leaks on Telegram, cited by 9to5 Google, arrives roughly a month before Google’s Made by Google event on August 12 in New York, where the entire Pixel 11 lineup is expected to debut.
A Slimmer Build With a Cleaner Camera Island
The leaked render largely mirrors the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s design, but with a few refinements.
The camera bar is slightly narrower this year, and the cutouts now extend fully to the edge without the extra strip of metal separating them, giving the module a more streamlined look.
The main and ultrawide cameras sit at the bottom of the island alongside the autofocus sensor, while the telephoto lens moves to the top right.
According to Android Authority, the phone itself appears to have shrunk too, with reported measurements of 10.1mm folded and 4.8mm unfolded, down from the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s 10.8mm and 5.2mm.
It’s still expected to be thicker than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7, running stable One UI 8.5, when closed, but the gap looks smaller than before.
Why the Camera Flash Is Getting So Much Attention
The most talked-about detail isn’t the color at all; it’s the flash. Sitting in the top-left corner of the camera island, the flash module in this leak looks noticeably larger than last year’s, nearly the size of a full camera lens itself.
The larger flash has fueled speculation that the rumored Pixel Glow feature, a lighting system for calls, low battery, and Gemini activity, could be built into the flash itself rather than a separate ring or strip around the camera bar, as earlier leaks suggested.
Nothing about that theory is confirmed, and it remains speculation based purely on the flash’s unusual size in these renders.
What’s Still Unconfirmed
Pine is expected to extend beyond the foldable to the standard Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL as well, based on earlier reporting, giving Google a consistent color option across its higher-end models this generation.
Google has not acknowledged any of these details officially, and as with all pre-launch leaks, exact specifications and colorways could still shift before the August 12 unveiling.
With Samsung’s own Unpacked event landing just days from now on July 22, the next few weeks are shaping up to be a steady stream of foldable leaks from both camps before either company makes anything official.
